West Coast Account Manager

Job Opening:


Mother Murphy’s is looking to add a talented, experienced sales account manager for the West coast territory. The individual will be responsible for the maintenance and growth of current accounts, while continuing to positively develop new flavor business. Qualified candidates will be asked to provide leadership and general management skills common to an outside sales position.

Essential Job Functions:
· Responsibly manage and grow existing business
· Locate, qualify and develop new business opportunities
· Participate in trade show events and sales meetings as requested
· Prepare and conduct business reviews and account calls with key customers
· Understand applicable industries and identify changing trends
· Ensure compliance with all company standards

Basic Requirements:
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· BS or MS degree from accredited institution
· Five years, minimum, commercial food experience; preferably ingredient sales
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Ability to travel
· Demonstrate a strong financial acumen
· Preferred industries of experience: Baking, Beverage, Dairy, Confectionary, Supplements

Seeking position in southern California although territory includes surrounding states. Travel required at +60%. Expected to attend trade shows, conventions across USA as needed.
